Our website is being updated to reflect recent changes. Please check back in September 2018.

All SaintsAnglican worship varies greatly. All Saints' has traditionally offered a range of styles of worship: from a Sung Eucharist in either traditional or contemporary language to an All-Age Family Communion, from a more charismatic style “Alternative Worship” to Choral Evensong. Prayers for healing and wholeness are offered each month. We are aware that our church may be the only contact some people have with the Anglican tradition, and we consider that a responsibility and a challenge. Music is a central part of our worship life, if you would like view some of the music we offer, see our Music page.

Types of Services
Morning Prayer has been said publicly twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:30 a.m but is currently suspended. We hope to resume these services as a new Chaplain is appointed in February 2018.

Evening Prayer/Eucharist has been traditionally held on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m., using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, an intimate and quiet occasion for prayer together. On the last Thursday of the month, between September and June, we have held a special Choral Evensong service sometimes led by visiting Cathedral choirs. We hope to resume this service when the new Chaplain is appointed in February 2018.

Sunday Worship:
We have two celebrations of the Eucharist: a said liturgy at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m. service with choir and organ. As part of the 10:30 service on the last Sunday of each month, we offer the laying on of hands for healing. We gather for special services of worship on the great feasts of the church year including: Harvest Festival, Remembrance Sunday, Mothering Sunday, Christmas, Easter and Pentecost.

Sunday Alternative Worship:
This service has used the "New Wine" format of contemporary worship songs, in-depth Biblical preaching and time to respond in prayer or by receiving prayer ministry. We hope to resume these services when our new Chaplain is appointed in February 2018.

Family worship events:
Historically, four times a year our regular 10.30 Eucharist becomes even more interactive and designed to appeal to all ages. Children are actively encouraged to participate. We created a prayer tree for Mothering Sunday, had a special ‘Christingle’ Advent Sunday and have performed dramatisations of Biblical stories using puppets. Each Christmas eve at 5 p.m. there is a crib service for children. We hope to resume these services as a new Chaplain is appointed in February 2018.

Christmas & Easter:
These celebrations begin with an evening Eucharist by candlelight on both Christmas Eve and Holy Saturday. A festal Eucharist is celebrated on Christmas and Easter mornings with special music and preaching.
We especially welcome those who are away from home who do not join us regularly.

We invite you to join us in worship!
